Every action has impact – intended or not. Looking at individual or small group actions through the lens of the Earth Charter brings increasing awareness to one’s impact and one’s relationship to the eco-community.
The intent of the Vermont specific Earth Charter Initiative website is to provide a map of interrelationships, unite those with a similar focus and allow us to see the similarities to those just outside of our focus. For example a business group focused on economic vitality may find that supporting better and equal health or education would build strong families and in turn provide the business with better skilled employee or customers.
